Hi there! 👋🏼

I’m Elisa, a content designer based in Italy. This is where I document my life in UX and writing.

In the last several years I’ve worked in translation and localization, content writing, customer service and even sales, before realizing I’ve actually been doing UX all along.

Whether you’re building a consistent, scalable content system for your digital product or designing complex user flows, I’m in your corner. I advocate for content designers and UX writers to step up, stay in the loop, and involve themselves in cross-functional projects.

Work

I’ve collaborated with startups from Belgium and the US, a multinational and a scale-up in Italy, and a Fortune 500 company in the Netherlands. Industries range from food safety and social commerce to customer experience.

Right now, I'm working at the intersection of artificial and business intelligence.

2024

Client projects

Creating a body of product content for a Shopify app
A Shopify app that rewards shoppers with cashback when they buy with friends and family was looking to build brand awareness before their relaunch. Here’s how I helped them move forward.
Improving complaint management within a customer service team
The customer service team I was part of struggled with customer complaint management. The process was slow and both employees and customers would get frustrated. Here’s how a colleague and I stepped in.
Helping food safety experts communicate across languages
An Italian foodservice company needed to translate a set of 7 food safety regulations for their corporate partners in the UK. Here’s how I helped them achieve their goal.

Kind words

“Elisa, this is a really, really good set of deliverables. You understand the benefits well and how to articulate them across a range of deliverables. Not only that, but you’ve clearly put an immense amount of thought into how to lay out your wording carefully across multiple mediums, yet still tell a cohesive story. That’s a fantastic skill to have.”

— Patrick Stafford (COO, UX Content Collective)

“Excellent work, Elisa. Your brand voice guide is neat and straightforward — perfect to support an MVP. You’ve also included plenty of examples of dos and don’ts.”

— Luca Longo (senior designer and mentor, UX Studio)
